Accreditation Eligibility

By successfully completing this training program you will be accredited to assess impairments for TAC, WorkSafe and for the purposes of Part VBA of the Wrongs Act 1958 (personal injury).

Be reminded that to become an accredited impairment assessors you must:

  • Be an AHPRA registered Medical Professional
  • Have successfully completed the Core (Stream 1) module
  • Have successfully completed at least one Specialty (Stream 1) module

Note: you will be accredited only to assess the body parts covered by the Specialty (Stream 1) module you completed.

Successful completion of a module (Core and Specialty) means that you have returned the mandatory competency based assessment for the module and that your competency based assessment has been marked satisfactory.
