This is a Stream 2 module and is designed for doctors that have already successfully completed the Stream 1 Nervous System module and have been awarded that accreditation.
Successful completion of the Stream 2 module will lead to awarding of one update to accreditation:
The module teaches the methodology in the Guides for evaluating permanent impairments resulting dysfunction of the brain, brain stem, cranial nerves, spinal cord, nerve roots, and peripheral nerves.
While much of the methodology is found in Chapter 4 of the Guides, the module also covers the approach required to use other parts of the Guides to assess certain impairments, particularly peripheral nerve injury.
