Module information

This module covers the evaluation criteria from Chapter 7 of the Guides (the Hematopoietic System) but also covers and additional set prescribed Guidelines for assessing Occupational Infectious Diseases.

The module includes:

The methodology to in Chapter 7 to disorders or red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, coagulation proteins and the immune defence system.

Detailed discussion of approach to assessing impairment from splenectomy.

Detailed discussion the approach to be taken to assess impairment associated with permanent need for use of blood thinners.

The methodology of the prescribed Guidelines for assessing Occupational Infectious Diseases and the fact that these Guidelines do not apply for some but not all compensation jurisdictions.
